First Lady

First Lady Sybrena B. Jacobs is a native of Camilla, Georgia and is the second of four children born to Sgt. Chancie J. Bradley and the late Missionary Bettye D. Bradley.  Lady Jacobs is married to Elder Micheal L. Jacobs Sr., Pastor of Calvary Holiness Church of God, to their union three children and five grandsons; Sheq'e Bradley, Micheal L. Jr. ( Diana), Hamilton McKinley (Faith)

A graduate of C. A. Johnson High School, Lady Jacobs furthered her education at Midlands Technical College, receiving an Associate Degree in Business Management; a Bachelor of Arts, from Columbia College in Religion with Emphasis in Christian Education; Certified RML from the Institute of Financial Education.  She has worked twenty-eight years in the Banking and Finance industry. Her accomplishments include Member of South Carolina Compliance Officers Association, Served on South Carolina Bankers Association Compliance and Regulatory Committee. While attending Columbia College, Lady Jacobs received an award for Excellence in the Study Religion; Excellence in the Study of Christian Education award. She was also nominated by Columbia College for Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Lady Jacobs received the Ameris Bank, Ameris Approach Award 2014; recognized as an Ameris Bank High Performer 2017.  Lady Jacobs also received a Certificate from Jerusalem University College, Mount Zion, Jerusalem, Israel.

The foundation for holiness was established in Lady Jacobs’ life at an early age under the ministry of Bishop C.L. Lorick, Sr. Pastor Emeritus of the Rehoboth United Church Jesus Christ, Apostolic.  Lady Jacobs was appointed and served as Calvary Holiness Church of God’s Missionary Representative in 2001 to 2004 in the absence of the late Mother Essie Mae Smith and the late Evangelist Doris Harmon-Washington.  Lady Jacobs presently serves as President of the Calvary Holiness Church of God Missionary Department and was installed by the late Bishop James C. Smith Sr. on March 21, 2004.  Lady Jacobs formed the “Women of Purpose” ministry which is an extension of the Missionary Department.  Lady Jacobs also serves as Consultant for the Young Women of Purpose (YWOP), a young women's group founded by Sister Sherrell McCloud and also is Coordinator of the CHCOG Founder’s Library; Committee member of the CHCOG Scholarship Fund; Coordinator of the CHCOG Community Love Feast. Lady Jacobs is committed to community outreach ministries and has volunteered in various community service capacities: CHCOG-Department of Juvenile Justice Ministry; past Sister Care volunteer. Currently, volunteer teaches Bible Study to youth at Epworth Children’s Home.

Lady Jacobs is currently employed by Ameris Bank of Columbia, South Carolina as VP, Marketing/ UDAAP/ Complaint Compliance Officer, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)

Lady Jacobs favorite scripture is, Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me".
